Disneyland Paris unveils major expansions

Disneyland Paris has announced plans for new themed lands and attractions, as well as hotel makeovers and retail revamps.

By the end of the transformation, 90% of the park’s offerings will have been refreshed, nearly doubling its footprint.

Walt Disney Studios to become Disney Adventure World

The second park at Disneyland Paris is getting a new name – Disney Adventure World.

‘World Premiere’ replaces Studio 1

The long-standing Studio 1 will reopen as ‘World Premiere’ on May 15.

This reimagined entry point will immerse guests in the glamour of a Hollywood red carpet, complete with palm-lined boulevards, themed restaurants like Hollywood Gardens, and the vintage-style Mickey’s of Hollywood boutique.

Outside, World Premiere Plaza will be a vibrant hub for Disney and Pixar stage shows.

‘World of Frozen’ and new nighttime show

Slated for a 2026 debut, ‘World of Frozen’ will bring the Kingdom of Arendelle to life, complete with a new attraction, meet-and-greets with Anna and Elsa, and themed shops and eateries.

A new nighttime show featuring water effects, fountains, drones, and projections will also light up Adventure Bay's new central lake.

Up-themed ride coming to Adventure Way

Adventure Way – the promenade linking various immersive lands – will welcome a flying carousel inspired by Disney-Pixar’s Up in 2026. The flying carousel will spin in the air, offering a bird’s-eye view of the park’s scenery.

It will join the Raiponce Tangled Spin and themed gardens showcasing stories like Tangled and Toy Story. The new Regal View Restaurant & Lounge will offer character dining with Disney Princesses and views of the lake show.

Immersive Lion King attraction

After ‘World of Frozen’ opens, work will begin on an all-new Lion King-themed area. It will be anchored by a major water-based attraction with cutting-edge audio-animatronics and immersive environments, and guests will journey through iconic scenes from the 1994 film – including a 16-metre descent.

Construction will begin in this year’s European autumn.

Hotel upgrades

Starting in 2026, Disney Sequoia Lodge (1 010 rooms) will undergo a full refurbishment, with brighter interiors and nature-inspired theming featuring forest-dwelling Disney characters.

Davy Crockett Ranch is also getting a makeover, with 584 bungalows being redesigned with nods to Donald Duck, Daisy and the Junior Woodchucks.

The first new bungalows will be bookable from June 12 for post-European summer 2025 stays.

Disney Village revamp

The transformation of Disney Village continues, with new shops like Disney Glamour, Disney Style and the revamped LEGO Store opening this month.

A home décor store, Deco by Disney, will offer exclusive items. Brasserie Rosalie will soon open a sunny terrace called Petite Rosalie, while Sports Bar & Lounge will relaunch with more seating and a new menu.

A new McDonald's and a three-storey Italian restaurant, Casa Giulia, are also planned for 2026.
