New look for DP

Development Promotions (DP) has re-engineered its brand to better reflect its company culture.

DP has represented several leading global travel brands in South Africa for over 50 years, providing support to the local travel industry and consumers. It proudly represents United Airlines and has an extensive cruising portfolio, in addition to worldwide touring and packaging products through various brands.

"Having celebrated our 50-year milestone in business last year, we felt the time was right to get creative with a fresh brand identity, which represents our core values and the work we do," says Jackie Adami, MD of Development Promotions.

The new DP brand includes a logo design and an updated colour palette to include turquoise and cerise, celebrating the company's all-female team of Directors – Jane Davidson and Jackie Adami, (who have worked for DP for 41 and 36 years respectively), and Robyn Christie, a well-known industry expert.

"We wanted to get ourselves out of the ’70s by injecting some fun into our brand," said Adami.

"Working closely with our creative team, we decided on a design that fully captures our can-do attitude, spirit and uniqueness, but without compromising on our strong sense of professionalism.

"While we're proud of where we have been, we are excited about where we are going," Adami added. "We hope that our community of cruise, airline, touring, and land packaging partners embrace our efforts to renovate and innovate, and we are looking forward to rocking 2023 with our trade partners.”
