Elephant Walk Tented Camp, a new luxury safari accommodation, is set to open near the Crocodile Bridge Gate, the southern entrance to South Africa’s Kruger National Park, on August 1.

Developed by a family with a long-standing connection to the region, Elephant Walk Tented Camp will offer 60 square metre, air-conditioned tents designed to combine comfort with a close connection to the surrounding wilderness. Each tent will feature either twin or king-size beds, a mini bar, a tea and coffee station and a bathroom with a double-basin vanity, a glass rain shower and a separate toilet cubicle.

The camp’s main lodge will include a tented lobby, lounges and dining decks overlooking the bushveld along with a viewing deck and boma located near the park’s boundary.

Dining offerings will include early morning coffee and pastries, hearty brunches, afternoon treats and candlelit dinners. Guests can also participate in a range of safari activities including daily game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, guided bush walks, night drives and bush dinners within Kruger National Park.

Elephant Walk Tented Camp will operate year-round.
