The Lufthansa Group will remove Light fares on German domestic routes from GDS EDIFACT platforms starting from September 2.
Light fares will only be available via NDC channels for all German flights operated by Lufthansa Group airlines. Affected fares are Light fares issued on LH/220-, LX/724-, OS/257- and SN/082- ticket stocks.
Lufthansa Group says the move is part of a broader initiative “to modernise retailing and strengthen direct distribution.” The performance and feedback of this approach will be tracked, and additional measures may be introduced based on the results.
