The Travelstart and Club Travel Group has announced the appointment of Andy Hedley as its new Managing Director. Andy is poised to steer the companies into a new era of growth and innovation, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the travel and online sectors.
Hedley is no stranger to the dynamics of the travel industry, nor is he a stranger to Travelstart. He was Head of Technical Business at Travelstart from 2011 to 2015.
His career has seen him at the helm of significant projects and initiatives at the confluence of travel, IT and commerce.
Hedley’s previous tenure was as General Manager (from 2015 to 2018) for Southern Africa at Amadeus, then as Managing Director (from 2018 to 2024) of the technology company.
Hedley’s return to the Travelstart Group marks a pivotal moment for both Club Travel and Travelstart. The Group says his unique blend of leadership skills and deep understanding of the online and travel landscapes promises to usher in a new chapter of success and innovation.
