STEYN City’s new 18-hole
golf course is now open
to the public.
The 18-hole Nicklausdesigned
golf course and
clubhouse opened in the last
quarter of 2014. The original
policy was to host VIPs by
invitation and potential buyers
until the official launch of the
lifestyle resort last month,
after which golf course
membership would be open to
Steyn City homeowners.
However, Steyn City
Properties ceo, Giuseppe
Plumari, said, due to
overwhelming interest, they
had decided to open the
course to the public on April 1.
“We will revert to our original
strategy once we reach
critical mass but we only
anticipate reaching capacity in
a few years’ time.”
The course also features a
fully operational clubhouse,
Pro Shop and new XIX
(Nineteen) Restaurant.
Individual bookings can be
done two weeks in advance
while group bookings
(minimum 32 golfers,
maximum 80 golfers) can
be booked six months in
advance.
