MasterCard has introduced the Priceless Africa campaign to South Africa, bringing the global Priceless Cities programme to Africa for the first time.
The campaign offers a collection of special discounts and rare experiences curated for MasterCard cardholders, including travel, attractions, sports, dining, shopping and entertainment.
Cardholders can also take advantage of exclusive deals in Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Mauritius, Seychelles and Tanzania as well as around South Africa.
Priceless Africa and Priceless Arabia are part of MasterCard’s global Priceless Cities programme that was first launched in July 2011 in New York.
Deals currently available include additional accommodation, rounds of golf, wine tasting and rafting experiences at various locations in South Africa. In neighboring Namibia, World and Platinum MasterCard cardholders can receive discounts on Skeleton Coast safaris in addition to complimentary balloon safaris.  Further afield, MasterCard cardholders can receive discounts on adventures in Kenya with Ultimate Kenya Safari, or in Tanzania through Classical Safari Wonders.
“MasterCard is working closely with local destinations and retailers to promote the region as a sought-after shopping and travel destination,” says Nadine Mouton, MasterCard, vp of marketing South Africa. “The roll-out of Priceless Africa demonstrates our continuous efforts to align ourselves with both local consumers and inbound visitors, and showcases our strong support of one of the world’s most iconic regions.”
