Travelinfo will officially launch its newly redesigned platform on Wednesday, May 13 at 17h00, together with a six-week supplier Treasure Hunt campaign featuring daily prizes for agents.
The Treasure Hunt campaign goes live on Friday, May 15 at 17h00 through a dedicated Travelinfo Treasure Hunt section within the Agents Only area of the platform.
Agents will be able to participate in a new supplier Treasure Hunt each day, answering questions to qualify for daily sponsor prize draws. Participants who complete all weekly Treasure Hunts will qualify for weekly R1 000 draws, while users who complete at least 90% of the campaign correctly will stand a chance to win a R5 000 cash prize.
Travelinfo noted that Monday Treasure Hunts will always be loaded on Fridays, giving agents a longer participation window over the weekend.
The campaign coincides with the launch of Travelinfo’s newly redesigned platform, which introduces an upgraded experience aimed at making supplier information easier for South African travel agents to access, navigate and use.
The updated platform forms part of Travelinfo’s ongoing focus on providing the trade with a centralised source of supplier content, operational information, contacts, policies, specials, documentation and product updates.
For travel agents, the platform is designed to reduce the time spent searching across multiple websites, emails and systems by bringing supplier information together into one regularly updated environment.
Anton Marsh, Publisher of Travelinfo, said one of the platform’s key strengths was that supplier information was maintained and updated by a dedicated local team, helping ensure that content remained relevant, trusted and aligned to the needs of the South African travel trade.
“For travel agents, having trusted, locally relevant supplier information in one place saves time and improves confidence when servicing clients. For suppliers, it creates a more efficient way to support and communicate with the trade,” said Marsh.
Travelinfo also helps suppliers reduce reliance on large internal support structures and complements call centres by giving agents direct access to operational and product information in a self-service environment.
The redesign includes improved navigation, a refreshed mobile-friendly interface and enhancements intended to make supplier content easier to discover and maintain.
Full competition details and Terms and Conditions will be available on Travelinfo at launch.
