Norse Atlantic Airways hosted travel trade partners at the Sixes Cricket and Music Festival on May 3 at DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, as one part of a broader trade engagement strategy in South Africa.

The event, held in partnership with the Sixes Festival, included social cricket matches and performances by students from the School of Rock. It follows a similar trade event held in Cape Town in March.

Norse used the occasion to reaffirm its commitment to the South African market and share operational updates ahead of its upcoming season. The airline will resume its direct Cape Town–London Gatwick route on October 3, with three weekly flights. From December to April 2026, this will increase to four flights per week.

Cape Town remains the carrier’s only destination in Africa.
