Norse Atlantic explores potential sale

Norse Atlantic Airways is reportedly exploring a potential sale as it undergoes a major restructuring of its operations amid financial struggles.

Bloomberg reported that the airline had appointed JPMorgan Chase & Co to lead the process, which could value Norse Atlantic at around €1 billion (R19,1 billion). The airline is open to a possible acquisition or merger with other airlines.

Norse hopes to begin the sale process before the peak summer season and has commenced discussions with several European and US airlines.
