■ Co-owner of British
T.I.P.S, Ken Hill, died on
January 23 after fighting
a battle against cancer.
Ken filled a strategic role
in the company and was
frequently the person to
bounce ideas off. He also
attended trade shows
overseas to identify
new opportunities. “He
was brave in the face of
cancer,” says co-owner,
Susan Thesen, adding
that a week before
his death, he was still
available to consult with
the team.
