Oceania adjusts cruise inclusions

Oceania Cruises has done away with its previous brand value promise, ‘Simply MORE’ and has unveiled its new set of inclusions with the promise ‘Your World Included’.

In reaction to feedback from cruise guests, cruise tickets will now include shipboard gratuities. The Simply MORE offering will expire on September 30. From this date, shore excursion credits and beverage packages will no longer be automatically included.

Your World Included features inclusive speciality restaurants, in-suite and in-stateroom dining, unlimited WiFi, sodas, coffees, teas, still and sparkling water, juices, smoothies and gourmet ice cream, group fitness classes, laundry services and the newly added gratuities.

“The change has come following feedback from guests, highlighting that they would prefer that we include amenities valued by all versus amenities valued by some. Not surprisingly, our guests place the greatest value on our core inclusions such as free speciality dining and free WiFi. Including gratuities creates the richest possible array of amenities and benefits for our guests globally,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises.

Oceania Cruises is represented by Cruises International in the South African market.
