Ponant encourages solo cruisers

Luxury yacht and expedition cruise line Ponant has now waived the single supplement on 183 cruises worldwide.

Solo travellers can book a single stateroom or private suite without having to pay the standard single supplement associated with single occupancy.

“We recognise the increasing number of travellers who prefer to journey solo,” said Stephen Winter, International Sales Director at Ponant.

“By removing the single supplement on so many select cruises, we’re inviting independent travellers to enjoy our luxurious ships and extraordinary destinations, such as our polar expeditions, without compromise.”

The no-single-supplement offer applies to a range of voyages that venture into destinations such as the Caribbean, Alaska, Antarctica, South America and along European coasts.

Ponant is represented by Development Promotions in the South African market.
