Proflight slices its prices for kiddies

Proflight Zambia has announced changes to its policy for children, to make it more affordable for families travelling with young passengers.

Children aged two to 11 and youths aged 12 to 17 now get a 25% discount on most fares. Infants travelling on-lap and aged up to 23 months will receive a 90% discount on the base fare.

The discounts are applied before taxes and fees, which will still be applicable for youth tickets. Proflight hopes the new policy will encourage more families to travel.

“Making travel affordable and accessible for families is a top priority. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and connect, regardless of age. Our discounts for children and youth reflect this commitment,” said Josias Walubita, Director of Flight Operations.

Tickets for youth travellers between the ages of 12 and 17 can be booked online by specifying the passenger type to obtain the discount.
