Proflight Zambia and Air Tanzania have signed an interline ticketing agreement as part of a strategic plan to provide passengers with improved connectivity and a seamless travel experience in the region.

The agreement, which came into effect on December 18 last year, enables travellers to book itineraries across Proflight Zambia and Air Tanzania on a single ticket, reports airspace-africa.com.

According to Josias Walubita, Director of Flight Operations at Proflight Zambia, the interline agreement is delivering more cost-effective and flexible travel options for the airline’s passengers.

Air Tanzania’s passengers will have access to a broader network through Proflight Zambia’s domestic and regional routes, including to Lusaka, Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.

Proflight Zambia plans to introduce discounted fares for flight itineraries later in the year. The discounted fares will be available on the carrier’s official website and GDS.
