Protea Hotels by Marriott has opened two new hotels, Protea by Marriott Delta in Nigeria and Protea by Marriott Lusaka International Airport in Zambia.

Located just minutes from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, the Lusaka property is ideal for business and leisure travellers to Zambia’s bustling capital.

The hotel features 72 guest rooms, a bar and an all-day restaurant offering a fusion of local and international cuisine. Other amenities include an outdoor pool and fitness centre.

For business needs or social gatherings, the hotel offers a range of flexible meeting facilities, including six boardrooms and two meeting rooms that can combine to accommodate up to 104 people, making it a prime venue for corporate meetings, workshops, and events.

The hotel provides complimentary airport shuttles to ensure hassle-free transfers.

Protea Hotel by Marriott Delta is in the heart of Warri, east of Lagos. It features 69 guestrooms and three well-equipped conference rooms that are suited to both small, private business meetings and large corporate events.

The Delta features an all-day bar, the Oriki Spa, an outdoor pool, and a fitness centre.

With these latest additions, Protea Hotels by Marriott now has more than 60 properties across Africa, in Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
