RH Hotels is set to reopen its properties after a full year of lockdown.
In a press release, the group says it is now offering a special travel trade rate of R500 per room, per night (B&B). This is for all travel industry personnel and the offer is open until June 30.
“We want to give agents the opportunity to not only get away for a short break, but also to experience the COVID-19 preparedness measures our hotels have in place, so that they can be confident when booking guests into any of our properties,” says Vedika Rutthan, the group’s director of operations.
The first hotel to reopen will be Holiday Inn Express Durban-Umhlanga (off Umhlanga Rocks Drive), which welcomes back guests from April 1, just in time for the Easter weekend. Holiday Inn Express Cape Town-City Centre (St George’s Mall) and Holiday Inn Johannesburg-Rosebank (Oxford Road) will reopen on April 15, followed by Holiday Inn Express Sandton-Woodmead (Maxwell Drive) and RH Hotel Pretoria (Steve Biko Road) on May 1.
