SAA has opened its recently upgraded International Premium Lounge, known as The Lounge, at OR Tambo (JNB).
The opening on November 13 was the first part of the project to renovate and refresh all SAA lounges. The first-class Platinum lounge at JNB will be renovated early next year, followed by refurbishments to SAA's Gqeberha, Cape Town, Durban and OR Tambo domestic lounges.
Refurbished in partnership with Discovery and Investec, The Lounge features new contemporary designs in furniture and fittings and a carefully curated art collection. A variety of comfortable areas includes a quiet zone, meetings suites and private suites.
A buffet menu is available throughout the day, and a new bar, for coffee, cocktails, mocktails and South African wines and bubbly.
