SAA signs codeshare with RwandAir

SAA has signed a bilateral codeshare agreement for flights between Johannesburg and Kigali.
RwandAir will be the operating carrier and SAA will market the route.
WB currently flies seven times per week between the two cities. Under the new agreement, RwandAir will fly on its own network and the SAA network from OR Tambo International Airport.  SAA customers will be able to travel between Johannesburg and Kigali on a single-ticket, should they connect from another destination outside Johannesburg.
Kendy Phohleli, SAA acting gm commercial says: “Through the codeshare agreement with RwandAir, SAA’s clientele will gain new travel choices to the Rwanda market via RwandAir’s increased presence in the market, providing for seamless travel and status recognition through the respective frequent flyer programmes.”
