The 2018 Iata Global Passenger Survey has revealed millennial travellers’ seven top priorities when travelling by air. The survey received 10 408 responses from April-July 2018.
The survey findings show that millennials prioritise:
- Having an electronic boarding pass
- Using biometric identification in place of a passport
- The ability to check in online using their smart phone, or a hand-held device
- Being allowed to scan their boarding token themselves
- Receiving notifications about air travel through an app
- Baggage drop-off that takes less than 30 seconds
- Baggage collection that takes less than five minutes
