Sponsored story: Do you know which country is ranked first in COVID-19 recovery?

14 Aug 2020

At the end of July,Thailand was ranked number one out of 184 countries for its ongoing COVID-19 recovery effort, according to the Global COVID-19 Index. It received an index score of 82,06, putting it on top of the global chart as an example of best practices in tackling the ongoing global pandemic.

As of August 7, the number of confirmed cases in Thailand stood at 3 298, with 129 currently being treated, 3 111 recovered and 58 having died.

As we know, the COVID-19 virus spread quickly and widely to many countries around the world. Thailand was able to control the spread of the disease thanks to the quick action taken by the Royal Thai Government and the whole-hearted support of the general public. One project in particular, initiated by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, was the Safety & Health Administration certificate, offering key protocols, enabling hotels to amend their services in accordance with the new normal and boosting tourist confidence. The results are obvious with the recent No 1 ranking in recovery!
