Singapore Airlines will launch daily flights between Singapore and the new Western Sydney International Airport on November 23, subject to regulatory approvals.
Flights will depart Singapore at 11h30 and arrive at the new Sydney airport at 22h20. The return flight will depart Sydney at 23h55 and arrive in Singapore at 05h05 the following day.
The airline will operate its Airbus A350-900 medium-haul aircraft, which features 40 seats in business class and 263 in economy class.
The airport is expected to open for passenger travel in October, and will initially be served by Qantas and Jetstar, with Air New Zealand planning 2027 flights if aircraft are available.
