Tee off on the Seine

Luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways has expanded its Concierge Golf programme to the River Seine in France.

Previously only available on selected Danube cruises, the programme will now be offered on the ‘Impressions of the Seine & Paris’ itinerary aboard the AmaDante from 2026.

Developed in partnership with LGT Golf, a renowned European golf tour operator, the new offering allows guests to combine scenic cruising through the French countryside with rounds at five of the country’s most prestigious courses.

The courses are:

  • Le Golf National (Guyancourt) – Host of the 2018 Ryder Cup
  • Racing Club de France La Boulie (Versailles) – A historic course with tree-lined fairways
  • Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil (Normandy) – Home of the Vaudreuil Golf Challenge
  • Golf Étretat (Étretat) – A clifftop course with sea views
  • Golf de Saint-Germain (Saint-Germain-en-Laye) – A forest course designed by Harry Colt (walking only)

Golfers opting into the Concierge Golf programme receive Mercedes-Benz transfers to and from courses, à la carte lunches with beer and wine, golf carts where available, range tokens and club and shoe cleaning services. Guests are also welcomed with a gift package that includes premium golf balls, a pitch repair tool, a leather shoe bag and detailed course guides.

This Seine golf cruise joins AmaWaterways’ existing Danube golf itinerary, which sails on the larger AmaMagna. Both programmes are now open for 2026 bookings.

AmaWaterways is represented by Cruises International in the South African market.
