Turkish Airlines is expanding its South African network by increasing frequencies on its Istanbul-Johannesburg and Istanbul-Cape Town routes to meet growing demand.
Johannesburg services will increase from seven to 10 weekly flights from October 25, followed by Cape Town, which will also increase from seven to 10 weekly flights from October 26.
The new frequencies to Johannesburg will depart Istanbul on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 13h30 and arrive in Johannesburg at 22h25. The return flights will depart Johannesburg on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 00h20 and arrive in Istanbul at 11h25.
The new Cape Town services will depart Istanbul on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 13h05 and arrive in Cape Town at 23h00. The return flights will depart Cape Town on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays at 00h55 and arrive in Istanbul at 13h10.
The new frequencies will operate until end-March 2027.
