TK waives ticket change penalties

Turkish Airlines will waive penalties for a once-off ticket change request on all coronavirus-related flight cancellations.

Passengers who departed from China, Iran, Iraq, South Korea and Italy within 14 days will not be accepted for travel on Turkish Airlines according to a ban by the Turkish Ministry of Health. Due to this, the airline updated the rights and privileges given to passengers for cancelled flight tickets.

Agents and passengers may qualify for refund, rebooking or ticket extension without penalty. A comprehensive list of conditions and varying validity dates are available here.

Any ticket changes, for both individual and group bookings, can be done only once and any changes after this will be subject to normal ticket rules.
