One ticket for all EU trains

The EU Transport Minister, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, has put forward a proposal to create a platform that will integrate all European train services, allowing travellers and agents to book a single ticket for a journey with multiple legs, operated by different rail service providers.

According to EuroNews, the platform will launch in 2025. It will be inspired by aggregators such as Rail Europe, however, it will provide a solution for seamless train travel across international borders.

Rail Europe adds to its portfolio

Rail Europe has announced increased coverage of rail travel in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary, Denmark and Croatia.

This expansion will allow travel agencies to access the domestic Belgian rail services and international routes to and from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Croatia, in addition to new routes within Hungary, Denmark and the Czech Republic.

The new additions includes services from operators ÖBB, Eurostar, Deutsche Bhan and SNCF.
