Paris airport to get express train

A new airport express train will connect Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport to the city from March 28 next year.

The CDG Express will offer a direct route without intermediate stops between the airport and Gare de l’Est.

Departing from the airport every 15 minutes, the journey will take 20 minutes each way, and will run from 05h00 to midnight every day.

New Prague-Bratislava route

Privately owned Czech rail operator Leo Express has started a new cross-border route connecting Prague and Bratislava.

The new route includes intermediary stops at Hulín, Otrokovice and Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště and takes just over five hours.

Two daily services are operating, departing Prague at 06h25 and 14h23, with the return departing Bratislava at 03h51 and 13h05.
