TRAVELPORT has appointed
new md for Africa,
Douglas Jewson.
He has 20 years’
experience in Africa’s
telecommunications and
electronics sector and has
held leadership roles for
multinationals operating in
the region, including Sony,
Research in Motion and
Nokia. As md, Douglas
will be responsible for
promoting and maintaining
the company’s standards in
airline merchandising, hotel
content distribution, B2B
payments and mobile travel
commerce to customers
across the region.
