United Airlines sign new codeshare agreement

United Airlines and Indian airline, Vistara, have signed a new codeshare agreement, effective February 28.

Previously, passengers travelling on United could only access two destinations in India: Delhi and Mumbai.

The new agreement opens up access to 26 destinations throughout India on Vistara-operated flights. These include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Goa, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi.

The codeshare builds on an existing partnership that focuses on loyalty and mileage programmes for members flying on either airline’s route network.
