Update: MK moves flights forward due to tropical cyclone

Air Mauritius has brought forward flights to Johannesburg and Durban due to tropical cyclone Berguitta. 
• Flight MK851 to Johannesburg (January 17) will operate as MK3851 on January 16 and will depart from Mauritius at 22h00. • Flight MK845 to Durban (January 17) will operate as MK3845 on January 16 and will depart from Mauritius at 21h30.
Both aircraft will remain in Johannesburg and Durban on the evening of January 16 to wait out the cyclone. Departure for flights MK852 (JNB) and MK846 (DUR) on January 17 has been indefinitely postponed. MK will announce the new departure times at a later stage. 
Information about flight disruptions are being shared via MK’s SMS service. Type ‘flight number’ – space – ‘flight date’ (MKXXX DDMM) to 52559090 for information about the status of a flight.
