US visa delay continues

27 Jul 2018 - by Savannah Freemantle

USA visa processing times are still delayed due to high demand. However, the situation has improved since June when applications were delayed by four weeks.

Visazone told eTNW that the next available appointments are for August 7 and 8. “The appointment system does allow you to expedite an appointment once booked if you can provide a compelling reason and a detailed explanation. However, lack of availability could still prevent you from getting a priority appointment and you can only request expedition once. If you fail to get a priority appointment you could still ask to be considered in the case of a cancellation, however, these appointments get filled really quickly.”

Visazone added that clients should submit applications 21 working days in advance.
