All foreign nationals travelling to Vietnam are now required to submit an online pre-arrival form at least three days prior to arrival.
Travellers must complete the declaration via the official portal (https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/). Once the declaration has been completed and approved, the system generates a QR code that must be presented to immigration officers on arrival.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Immigration Office, travellers can still complete the form on arrival, but this may result in longer processing times at immigration.
