Visas – updates and increases

German
The German Consulate in
Durban is now equipped for
biometric visa applications.
They must be made online,
printed and taken into the
consulate with the bar code
and list of requirements
(see Travelinfo).
Appointments are on a rstcome,
rst-served basis.
Burkina Faso
Burkina Faso has increased
the price of a visa from
R400 to R820 for a threemonth,
single-entry visa. A
three-month multiple-entry
visa now costs R1 100,
up from R550 previously.
A six-month single-entry
visa now costs R1 200
(previously R600) and a
multiple-entry visa is now
R1 400 (previously R700).
A 12-month single-entry
visa is R1 500 (previously
R750) and multiple-entry is
R1 700 (previously R850).
A transit visa has increased
from R200 to R210.
Express visa requests are
handled at an additional
charge of R250.
Comoros
The Government of Comoros
is now issuing visas at the
airport due to restructuring
at the embassy. Passengers
must carry the usual
documents. See Travelinfo
for more details.
Denmark
A Danish adult visa has
increased from R780 to
R840. Visas for children
aged 6-12 will now cost
R490 (previously R450).
Greece
Visas for Greece are now
R900pp (previously R840).
The service fee per visa
has increased by R20 to
R280.
