THE popular coastal holiday destination of Margate in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) is the venue for the Water, Wheels and Wings Expo 2000 to be held from August 9 to 13.
Activities include aerobatic displays, skydiving, sports cars, drag racing and the highlight of the show, a Sea Fun and Sun Fly-In Event by 100 aeroplanes from the Local Experimental Aircraft Association (LEAA).
A military parade exercising the Freedom of Margate by 4 Air Serving Depot in Pretoria will take place on Friday, August 11, while the official military band will kick off a day of aviation displays and exhibits on Saturday, August 12.
