Weighell joins GBTA SA

SURE Travel’s corporate

manager, Jim Weighell, has

resigned to join the Global

Business Travel Association

(GBTA) Southern Africa.

Jim has been appointed

director of operations,

effective May 1. In his

new role, he will be actively

involved in all aspects of

the corporate travel industry,

contributing to GBTA’s

international growth through

the development of GBTA’s

Southern African strategy

and operation.

Jim joined Sure Travel

in 2004, focusing on the

retail corporate industry.

Prior to his tenure at Sure

Travel, Jim built up extensive

experience in airline and

airport operations, sales and

marketing at British Airways

and American Airlines.
