What to expect at this year’s Travel Expo

The Flight Centre Travel Group will host its annual Travel Expo at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg from February 6-7.
More than 100 exhibitors will be onsite to offer travel deals and advice, including airlines such as SAA, Air Mauritius, British Airways, Emirates, Mango and kulula.com, tour operators such as Thompsons Holidays, Beachcomber Tours and The Holiday Factory, accommodation providers, car-rental companies and more.
Flight Centre md, Andrew Stark, says the group expects around 20 000 visitors to the expo and R30 million in sales.
Agents interested in working for Flight Centre can take advantage of the company’s recruitment initiatives at the Expo. The recruitment team will operate a live feed, #workforflightcentre and run a referral competition through which visitors will be encouraged to drop their CVs into a lucky prize draw.
Andrew says the Expo is a great opportunity for agents to get a feel of the Flight Centre brand as a potential company to work for.
