Umngazi Hotel and Spa on the Wild Coast has recently reopened with a fresh look. The hotel closed for four weeks (mid-May to mid-June) for essential renovations.

The property lies in a idyllically beautiful setting, on the Umngazi River Mouth, 20km south of Port St Johns in the Eastern Cape.

The renovations included rethatching the adult and kiddies' dining rooms, upgrading light fittings, and replacing the flooring with tiles.

The kiddies' dining room also received a transformation with bespoke wallpaper, creating a brighter and more cheerful dining environment for the little ones.

Enhancements to the communal swimming area included the installation of a new pool deck and pergola.
