The Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Africa Fair will be held at the International Conference Centre in Harare from October 18-21.
The annual fair is organised by the Zimbabwean Tourism Authority and this year it will showcase some of Africa’s best tourism products. The first two days are trade days and the last two are for the public. Opening times are from 09h00 to 17h00.
This Sanganai fair has been running for the past four years and is the successor of the Shanai/Vakatshani fair that started in 1982 and became one of Africa’s leading showcases.
The current fair has attracted African destinations and world tourism markets such as South Africa, Botswana, Malaysia, China, Zambia, Malawi, Kenya, Indonesia, Italy and others.
It is dubbed ‘where the world meets Africa’ and its focus is national tourism boards, embassies, international airlines, tourism destinations, tour wholesalers, tour operators and travel agents, leading hotel chains of the world, car hire and transport operators, suppliers of goods and services to the tourism industry, investors, government ministries and parastatals.
There will be pre and post tours around Harare and surrounds – see the booking form for details.
