Monique Swart

Monique Swart joined the travel industry when she was part of the team that launched the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) in South Africa in June 1999. Swart was then charged with opening an ACTE office and managing the Association’s operations in South Africa.

In December 2010, Monique left ACTE to launch the African Business Travel Association (ABTA), which is a member-led organisation focusing on education and networking within the Corporate Travel industry in Africa.

Swart is also a regular contributor to a variety of Business Travel publications across the region and ABTA has previously been selected as an Education Partner to run sessions at a host of industry leading events.
