Etihad Airways has informed agents that due to higher demand and seasonality, it is expecting a large number of pax to travel from Johannesburg to Abu Dhabi and onwards until January 16, resulting in clients’ airport experience taking longer than usual.
To help passengers get on with their journey as quickly as possible, Etihad asks that agents ensure the following:

Warn passengers to arrive at the airport four hours before flight departure time. Check-in will close one hour before departure.

Ensure all customer emergency email and mobile contact details as well as agency details are updated on all bookings.

Check whether customer needs to get verified to fly.

Check in online 30 hours prior to departure.
