Air France and Transavia have launched 17 new routes between France and Algeria starting from April 4.
Air France will add five new routes from Paris-Orly, Marseille, Toulouse, and Nice to two destinations in Algeria: Algiers and Oran. The flights will be operated by a 131-seat Airbus A318 and a 178-seat Airbus A320 respectively. Paris-Algiers will have 14 weekly flights; Marseille-Algiers seven weekly flights; Toulouse-Algiers and Toulouse-Oran 14 weekly flights each and Nice-Algiers two weekly flights.
Transavia has 12 new routes from Paris, Lyon and Montpellier to six destinations in Algeria: Algiers, Bejaja, Constantine, Oran, Setif and Tlemcen. The flights will be operated by a 189-seat Boeing 737-800. Paris-Orly-Tlemcen will operate twice weekly; Lyon-Bejaja and Lyon-Constantine with one flight a week each; Lyon-Oran, Montpellier-Algiers, Montpellier-Constantine, and Montpellier-Oran each with two flights a week.
