Air France unveils new menus

Air France has unveiled its new menus created by Michelin-starred chefs Michel Roth and Anne-Sophie Pic.

The menus will be served on long-haul flights in La Première and Business cabins on departure from Paris.

Chef Michel Roth has created a new series of gourmet and refined dishes for travellers in the La Première cabin. They include an appetiser, a starter and eight dishes that will gradually be unveiled on the menu, which includes caviar, lobster, veal, and shrimp dishes.

Chef Anne-Sophie Pic has created menus for the Business cabin that will include braised beef, roast chicken, and saithe.

The airline’s aim is to offer 100% French meat, dairy products and eggs, as well as sustainably caught fish, on all its flights from Paris and in all cabins.

A vegetarian dish will also be systematically offered and all meals will be prepared entirely in France. The airline favours local produce, respecting seasonal produce and encouraging sustainable farming. The children and infants’ menus will be made exclusively from organically grown produce.

To help combat food waste, Air France will make it possible to pre-select a hot meal in the Business cabin before departure. The airline is also committed to recycling and eliminating 90% of single-use plastic on board its aircraft by early 2023. Certain items will be donated to charity.
