Barsa has sent out a notice to its members informing them that Air Mauritius has resigned its membership. Travel News already reported on February 24 that Carla da Silva had resigned as chair of Barsa, with effect from February 19.
Michi Messner, deputy chair, said in the notice that Carla’s contribution to Barsa would be missed. She also said Air Mauritius had been a member of Barsa for many years and Barsa hoped the airline would return to the organisation in the future.
