ET orders aircraft for underserved routes

Ethiopian Airlines has signed a purchase agreement for two De Havilland Canada Twin Otter Classic 300-Gs, a new type aircraft in the airline’s fleet.

The aircraft will strengthen Ethiopian Airlines’ domestic and regional network, allowing it to access underserved airstrips, remote locations in Ethiopia and East Africa as well as Ethiopia’s great lakes regions.

The aircraft have short take-off and landing capability to better serve these areas.
