Lemala Camps & Lodges, part of the Tourvest integrated tourism group, has acquired Tulia Amboseli Safari Camp, marking its entry into the Kenyan market.

Located just outside Amboseli National Park and offering views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the camp will retain its name and branding. Lemala will oversee operations, bringing its regional experience to the property while maintaining its established identity.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tulia Camp into the Lemala family,” said Leanne Haigh, CEO of Lemala Camps & Lodges. “This acquisition allows us to deepen our presence in the region while honouring our commitment to low-impact, community-integrated hospitality.”

Lemala confirmed it will continue working with Barry McGonigle, Founder of Tulia Amboseli Safari Camp and Operator of Kilimanjaro Balloon Safaris. McGonigle remains active in the Amboseli area with longstanding ties to the local community.
