Air Europa has enhanced its network with two new domestic routes and additional frequencies.
The airline is now operating three daily flights from Madrid to Oviedo and Seville on its B737 fleet.
The carrier has also increased its Rome-Milan service to three daily flights.
The expansion comes as it prepares to launch its first Madrid-Johannesburg service on June 24.
EgyptAir launches LA flights
EgyptAir has launched its first service to Los Angeles in more than two decades.
On Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the flights depart Cairo at 08h30 and arrive in Los Angeles at 13h20. On the same days, the return flights depart Los Angeles at 17h25 and arrive in Cairo at 17h10 the following day.
The LA flights form part of a broader transatlantic strategy that will see the airline introduce three weekly Chicago flights on June 21.
EK to transform DXB First Class Lounge
Emirates has announced that its First Class Lounge on Concourse C in Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport will be closed while it undergoes a transformation.
In a travel update, the airline invited passengers to use the First Class Lounge on Concourse B or the Business Class Lounge on Concourse C.
Cathay Pacific launches Kazakhstan route
Cathay Pacific will launch direct flights from Hong Kong to Kazakhstan in the first quarter of 2027. It intends to operate three weekly flights to Almaty using an Airbus A330-300 widebody aircraft.
Lavinia Lau, Cathay’s Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, positioned the region as an emerging market, noting that this would be the airline’s first destination in Central Asia.
