Qantas and Jetstar will begin flights at the new Western Sydney International Airport, expected to open on October 25.
Jetstar will be the first airline to launch commercial flights with JQ362 departing at 11h00 on October 25 to the Gold Coast. The airline will operate 14 flights a week to Melbourne, four weekly flights to the Gold Coast and three weekly flights to Brisbane.
Qantas operations will begin on March 28, 2027 with four flights a week to both Brisbane and Melbourne on a QantasLink Embraer E190.
SWISS launches pre-flight menus
Digital menus for food and beverages are now available on the SWISS app for all travel classes on SWISS flights. The menus are accessible up to six weeks before departure and can be viewed without entering a booking code.
Pre-ordering is also available on selected flights and travel classes.
Passengers in SWISS Premium Economy, SWISS Business and SWISS First can access an expanded or guaranteed meal selection up to 24 hours before departure. On most short-haul services, SWISS Economy passengers can also pre-order their meal up to 36 hours before departure.
