KQ reinstates early-morning JNB flights
KENYA Airways has added three more weekly flights on its
Johannesburg route, reinstating early-morning flights on certain
days, from June 6. The airline has also launched flights to Mauritius,
which will operate four times a week from June. KQ has an existing
codeshare with Air Mauritius for three weekly flights from Mauritius
to Nairobi. With the new service, both airlines can offer a daily
service on the route. Furthermore, KQ signed an agreement with
KLM that enables both airlines to sell more JV flights to/from East
Africa and Europe, and destinations beyond Nairobi and Amsterdam.


Etihad to fly daily to Lagos
ETIHAD Airways will add two flights to its Abu Dhabi-Lagos route,
making it a daily service. From May, the extra services will run on
Tuesdays and Thursdays using an Airbus A330, with 240 seats in
economy class and 22 in business class. Flight EY673 will depart
Abu Dhabi at 02h30 and arrive in Lagos at 07h30. EY674 will
depart Lagos at 09h00 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 19h50
