Emirates touches down in Orlando
EMIRATES has launched a daily non-stop flight service between
Dubai and Orlando as from September 1. Flight EK219 departs
Dubai at 03h50 and arrives in Orlando at 11h40, a flying time of
15 hours and 50 minutes. Return flight EK220 departs Orlando
International Airport Terminal B at 14h20 and arrives at Dubai
International Terminal 3 at 12h30 next day, with a flying time of
14 hours and 10 minutes. The flights are operated by a 266-seat
Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft, with eight private First Class suites, 42
business-class lie-flat beds and 216 economy-class seats.

Etihad opens premium lounge in Abu Dhabi
ETIHAD Airways has opened its newly refurbished premium-class
lounge at Abu Dhabi Airport’s Terminal 1. The lounge is open to
Etihad first- and business-class guests, qualifying Platinum Etihad
Guest members and the equivalent tier loyalty programme members
of Etihad partner airlines flying from Abu Dhabi. The lounge can seat
134 guests, is open 24 hours a day and offers a range of facilities.
