Airlink and Emirates co-operate

23 Oct 2020

Airlink, and Emirates have announced a new interline agreement.

Agents will be able to issue a single ticket for inbound traffic from Dubai to Cape Town or Johannesburg. Pax will then be able to continue seamlessly to 45 destinations across the Southern African region – 20 in South Africa and 25 across the Southern African region, without touching their baggage.

The regional routes include those to several centres in Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Zambia.

Likewise, agents in the region will be able to book passengers on a single ticket to Dubai. This means Emirates will be able to scoop up passengers from the entire region and transport them to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo and Cape Town International Airport for their onward flights to Dubai, where they will feed into Emirates’ vast network to all corners of the world.
